At the end of October Gadget Partners visited Scotland and had a very productive meeting, which was complemented by additional activities.  The visit coincided with a Scotland Europa event promoting Horizon 2020 in the construction industry and Gadget partners were invited to speak about the project and about their own organisations, to an audience which included Scottish academics and SMEs.  They had the opportunity to network over lunch and make some potentially fruitful connections.  The meeting then moved to the Scottish Chamber of Commerce and towards the end of the day partners were taken out to the BRE Innovation Park in Motherwell to see an example of one of Applegreen Homes’ buildings.

The meeting itself covered the project’s progress, specifically a review of Work Package 2, dissemination activities and an in depth discussion of the way forward for Work Package 3.  Ideas for the final conference in September 2014 were discussed along with a suitable venue.  The next meeting will take place in Alicante at the beginning of April 2014.
