They were asked to work on a new scaffolding project thanks to which we would be able to reduce the carbon footprint, the price of production as well as the time of its assembling and disassembling comparing to the conventional scaffolding. They worked on the project here for a week, under the keen eye of Prof Philips Gerson and will continue to work on the winning concepts in the future.
Alan Wallace – AppleGreen Homes CEO, introduced and explained the GADGET program, which he is part of, the feedback from the students was very interesting from their home countries, in particular the French students, talked about their own experience of universities and industry working together. They work one month full time in University followed by one month full time in employment in a related industry, which sets them streets ahead of other countries, which for a global employment market is very important.
